A retarded Fable

I wrote this for english class XD
It's called, Cat and the Shoes

One day, Cat was walking through the forest when he met Weasel.  "Hello, Weasel. It's nice to see you," Cat said. Weasel nodded and replied, "It's nice to see you as well. Where are you headed?" Cat sighed and hung his head. "Yesterday while I was walking home," said Cat," I got a thorn in my paw. I'm going to the market so I can buy a pair of shoes." Weasel said goodbye and walked off, thinking about how funny a cat wearing shoes would look. When Cat came to the shoe store and asked for assistance, the owner laughed at him. "You're a cat! Cats don't wear shoes," The shoe store owner said, and kicked Cat out of his store.  Cat, who was very angry, went to the edge of town to see if a witch who lived there could help him find a decent pair of shoes, or at least someone who would sell him a pair. The witch said "I can't help you find your shoes, but I can torture the shoe store owner for you." Then Cat said "That works, too." Cat ran back to the store, and watched as the owner was being attacked by some invisible force. The owner told Cat he could pick the most expensive pair of shoes in his store if Cat could help him. Cat agreed and the torture stopped. "You've learned something," Cat said," had you not been laughing at me, I would have gladly paid for the shoes, and you would not have been tortured."
